Hi everyone, thank you so much for sharing your memories of Julie and how much she meant to you all!  It is always nice to hear how many lives she touched in such a positive way.  Julie was a big part of my life growing up. Just like Denise and Michelle mentioned Julie loved more than anything just going out and having fun.  We would spend the night with her and we would honestly spend the entire night playing games (yes, the words I used in scrabble are real despite her objections! :), watching movies on tv until we could'nt keep our eyes open anymore, and best of all no matter what we were doing Julie made sure that it was the best time ever! And if we were ever in doubt of that all we had to do was look her way and she would have a smile from ear to ear that would let us know that we were creating special memories to last a lifetime and then some.  God blessed us with Julie and now she gets the last laugh, becuase she now gets to watch us as we live our lives.  The thing is that she will always be with us in our hearts and minds, helping us with day to day life, and when times are difficult all we need to do is think of her and the smile she always had on her face from ear to ear and we will know everything will be ok! Thanks Julie, you're the best! From your favorite nephew (i know, quite a strech there!) as you always called me, Daniel Patrick Moynahan!

I wasn't able to attend Julie's visitation or funeral, but Elaine sent me the link to her guest book and her photo gallery. It was so beautiful to read and see pictures of how you all enriched her life so much; her smile was so infectious when she was with you and the children.  Life is so hard, but family and especially the children put the magic back in it.  I could see even from a distance how blessed she was to have all of you.

My great aunt Julie was a very kind person. I can remember bringing any board game to her when I was little and she would play with me. I loved riding around in her car and looking at Christmas lights every year. She always had a smile on her face and was nice to everyone.  I know our entire family will miss her.

John and family, Julie has always been a part of my life, she would always be the one to come up with a joke real quick if someone was down, to brighten their day. She would always come up with the craziest little gifts that would make you smile, but the present I remember most was for my 8th birthday. She is the one who gave me my first train set. and i will always remember her.

One of the best things about Julie was that she enjoyed the little things in life. And she taught that to us kids by singing to every song and those goofy little Christmas gifts that we loved. It really is the little things in life we need to enjoy. RIP great-aunt Julie.

I'm proud to say Julie was my aunt!  She could drive you crazy with her child-like ways, but it was also very endearing.  She loved playing games, watching musicals, traveling, going to Six Flags, coloring Easter Eggs, hunting for Pumpkins, and everything about Christmas!
As kids, we loved spending the night at her house.  We would play games, such as Uno, Boggle, Scrabble, Pokeno and Rummy.  She took game-playing very serious and never let us win just because she was our Aunt.  Cheating was not allowed!  We loved swimming in her pool in the back yard every summer!
She would do anything for her 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.  She took me to Six Flags when I was 15 to see the Beach Boys.  She even let me stay for the 2nd concert even though I got a little bratty with her.  She loved us kids more than anything!
She liked to tell me that when I was born, she was 16 years older than me, but when I was 16, she was only twice as old as me.
Julie and I had a lot in common.  We both loved musicals, and some of our favorites were Sound of Music, Singin' in the Rain, and Brigadoon.  I always loved talking to Julie when I found an old musical that I had never seen before and fell in love with, such as Oklahoma.  We both loved taking pictures, looking at old pictures, and talking about genealogy.  Since she loved arts and crafts so much, she always encouraged my scrapbooking hobby.  We both loved carousels.  While looking through photos of Julie, I found a great black & white photo of Julie on a carousel horse, which I will now be framing and putting in my room.  Julie and I could listen to Christmas music all year long.  As I would listen to her sing, I always wondered why her beautiful singing voice was not passed on to anybody else in the family.  Fall was our favorite season, and today at her burial, it was like she hand-picked this absolutely perfect fall day to remind me.  We both enjoyed each other's sense of humor, and I can hear Julie's sarcasm in lots of things that I say.
I will miss her very much.  I am so grateful for the honor of being at the hospital, holding her hand, when she left us to go to Heaven with her Mom and Dad.

I am so sorry about Julie. I am still in shock about it. I have SO many memories of Julie and Ma-Ma. The most memorable being our trips to get Christmas trees and Christmas Day at their house. The many summers spent in their back yard, swimming in the pool. And the trips to Elephant Rocks, to name a few. But what I remember and will cherish the most was the fact that Guy, Mom and I were treated like adopted "Russells"! I will miss her every day of my life, just as I have missed Ma-Ma! And may YOUR memories of Julie help you through your grief as it has mine! Love You!

My aunt Julie was this & much more! Swimming in her backyard pool, teaching me how to latch hook, her long thick braided hair, listening to her sing while she drove, playing spoons, the art of icing sugar cookies, eating anything chocolate, & the pleasure of playing Putt-Putt!
I will always think of her when I hear the song, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman, one of Julie's favorite songs.

I have many memories of Julie that I'll never forget. She always had fun little odd presents at Christmas time and I can't pass a carousel without thinking about her. Looking back, I realize that she was a fun loving great-aunt that really enjoyed the little things in life. Dearest Johnny, Jan, Denise, Michelle, Danny and family.  Thanks so much for calling me Sunday night to tell me of Julie leaving. Being so close to all of you there was so much desire in my heart to fly to St. Louis to be with all of you.  It just wasn't meant to be. Being so far away was just impossible, but please know I have been there in spirit. It saddens me that Julie has gone at such a young age.  As I look at the photos on line I chuckled so hard and cried as well.  I really was in St. Louis.  Those photos meant a lot, please know that. I remember the things you all did as a family and touched that I could be part of some of the outtings.  There are lot of memories to hang on too and believe me that's exactly what I'll do. Dear John and family,

We were sadden to learn today of your sister's passing.  Both Catherine & I would liked have had the opportunity to get to know her as there was a mutual bond thru her miniature work and our railroad interests.  We can only hope that her passing was peaceful and that she has now gone to a far better place.  Bless her and your family.

To Julie's family:  I am saddened and shocked to hear of her death.  I used to know Julie so long ago when we both collected and made miniatures.  I still have a miniature painting of a horse she did. It's packed away with all my other treasures. In fact, every time Bridgeton announced its Gentry Park craft fair, I wondered if she would be there. I will keep Julie in my prayers. She was a very nice person.
