Julia Marie Blattner, 83, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024. Julia was born on November 7, 1940, and adopted by the late August Blattner and Mary Blattner, whom she deeply cherished throughout her life.
Julia had a love for life that was reflected in her many passions. She was an avid fan of rodeos and horses, enjoying the excitement and connection to the animals she loved. A proud supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals, she could always be counted on to cheer for her team. She also had a fondness for gambling, embracing the thrill of chance with the same enthusiasm she brought to everything in her life.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Deborah Hauser, and her family: nephew Scott Hauser, niece Jessica Wynn (Aaron), and her great-nephews Hayden Hauser, Holden Hauser, George Wynn, and August Wynn. Julia also leaves behind her cherished Emmaus Family, who shared her journey in friendship and community.
Julia’s spirit, generosity, and sense of adventure will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her parents in peace.
A visitation will be held for Julia on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The committal will follow immediately after the funeral service at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
