Harold J. "Smitty" Smith, age 91, of St. John, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was born November 2, 1931, to Charles Peter "Pete" and Nellie (nee: Feldman) Smith. They have preceded him in death, as has his beloved wife Shirlene (nee: Gehrs), and his brothers Milton and Charles. Smitty is survived by: his sons: Steven (Christy), Christopher (Tammy); his grandchildren: Peter (Jacquie), Andrea (James Holborow), Rebecca, Emily (Kyle) Douglas, Hannah (Luis) Sanchez, Megan; his great granddaughter Jesse; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Smitty proudly served in the United States Army, he was a member of IBEW Local 1, and a member of the American Legion. He loved boating and fishing at the Lake of the Ozarks.
