MEYER, Elsie J. (nee Pitts), 87, Asleep in Jesus on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Daughter of the late Henry and Elsie (nee Schatz) Pitts; beloved wife of the late Jack Meyer; loving mother of Lorrie (Elmer) Travers, Melissa (Robert) Uebinger, and Mark Meyer; dear grandmother of Bryan (Ashley) Travers, Adam Travers, Ashley E. Travers, Matthew (Shannon) Sesti, and Nicole (Antar) Hawkins; great grandmother of Greyson Travers, Alex and Abby Sesti, Anthony Hill, Tyson Hawkins, and Marissa Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her three brothers; dear cousin, ant, and friend to many.

Elsie was a retired elementary school teacher for Ferguson and Florissant school districts and touched many lives. She loved making quilts for her family, each one unique to the individual. She also loved to decorate cakes and was an avid reader.

SERVICES: Visitation Monday, June 29, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO. Interment in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Foundation or to Backstoppers.
