Charlotte Joyce Lener

Charlotte Joyce Lener, age 76, of Maryland Heights, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hughey and Glenda (nee Thompson) Mullins. Charlotte leaves behind her beloved of fifty-seven years, Allen, along with their sons, Gregory and Douglas Lener. She was an adoring grandmother to Ava and Amelia Lener and a sister to Sharon Harris, Alvin Mullins, and Vickie Thompson.

Charlotte was a woman of many passions, finding joy in life's simple pleasures. Her infectious personality, kindness, and warm smile brightened every room she entered. Her love for shopping was evident in the treasures she collected and the stories she shared. As she indulged in her favorite soap operas, it became a cherished part of her everyday schedule.

Summers were a time of bliss for Charlotte, as she basked in the warmth of the sun by her pool, surrounded by the serenity of nature. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family as she embraced the role of a devoted mother and a godmother with unwavering love and dedication. Known for her genuine warmth, she touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was a true animal lover and found companionship in her beloved dogs. Her home was always open to her son’s friends, who regarded her as a second mother, drawn to her caring nature and welcoming embrace.

Among her cherished possessions were porcelain dolls, which hold a special place in her heart and home. As a collector, she found joy in the beauty and history each doll represented, adding to the tapestry of her life.

Charlotte leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and boundless love that will be forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Charlotte's visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. A graveside service will occur Friday, April 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Whitewater Christian Cemetery, 3687 Hwy BB, Perryville, MO 63775.
