On Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Captial Caring Hospice Center in Arlington, VA, after a lengthy battle with leukemia. Beloved wife of 55 years to her husband Marion. Cherished mother to Laura Purvis, Robert Moser (Kim Fillmore) and Beth Ellis (Brian). Beloved grandmother of Jake Purvis, Matthew Ellis, Thomas Ellis, Charlotte Ellis, and Natalie Ellis. Also survived by her brother Ben Wenger of Wadsworth, Ohio and sister Grace Wald of Mesa, Arizona, and a host of treasured family members around the country, including Ohio and Arizona. Predeceased by her parents Robert D. Wenger and Faye Shew Wenger, half sister Betty Wenger and Brother Tommy.

Loved ones and friends may call at Demaine Funeral Home 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield, VA 22151 on Sunday July 13, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A celebration of Ginny's life will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church, 10125 Lakehaven Court, Burke, Virginia. A private interment at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later time.
