Verna Lee Sibley

Of Springfield, VA on December 30, at the age of 79. Mother of Anita Lee Dehaven and Donna (Brad) Calderone; grandmother of Allison (Tommy) Holt, Elena Calderone, and Deven Dehaven; and great-grandmother of Matthew and Jackson. Verna was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Springfield for nearly 40 years. She was a dedicated accountant for Jack Bays, Inc. for 28 years before retirement. A memorial service to celebrate Verna’s life will be held on Saturday, January 6 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church, Gary Street, Springfield. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Verna’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
