Stephen Wayne Dickerson

Stephen Wayne Dickerson, beloved father, grandfather and friend, passed away on April 27, 2023 at the age of 68. Steve was born on March 26, 1955 and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. He would end up calling Northern Virginia home for life. Steve went to work right out of high school and went on to become very successful in the insurance industry, however the titles he was most proud of were “Dad” to daughters Kristyn and Lisa (and eventually son-in-law Fabio, who he considered one of his own), as well as “Pops” to grandson Luca, his pride and joy. Steve was known for his constant smile, as well as always being sharply dressed. He could either be found in a suit and tie or, for “casual” days, an overly-crisp button down shirt, jeans and one of the many pairs of cowboy boots in his collection and couldn’t ever be found with a hair on his head out of place. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Mary Dickerson. He is survived by daughters Kristyn Vinet (Fabio) and Lisa Dickerson, and grandson Luca Vinet. Visitation will take place at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, Virginia on May 3, 2023 at 12:00pm, followed by a Funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia.
