SidnSidney Raymond Smith was born in Harlem, New York on December 22, 1949. He was the son of Raydell Woodford and Henry Smith He was very interested in Science and Religion. His first book was written in 2005 "Supplementology Combinding Religion and Science" His second book entitled "Search for The Promise Land" was written in 1999. He provided a way to bring all religions and science into harmony and give mankind a new famework to understand its role on earth and beyond. He was also interested in serving in his community for those that needed help and assistance. He was President and Director of "The House of Imagene" (A Temporary Shelter for Battered Women). He was also Project Director for Urban Shelters and Healthcare, Manpower Development Specialist. He attended Amherst College in Amherst, MA (Management Leadership Conference Certificate), Antioch School of Law, Washington, DC (B.A. in Family Violence), University of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC (Degree; BA Social Services), Lincoln University, Lincoln, PA (Degree: Masters of Human Services ) Sidney Raymond Smith received several Honors and Awards: Chairman of Inner City Alliance for Jobs and Economic Development, Board Member of Shaw Project Area Committee, DC City Council Resolution of community service award, Volunnteer Activitist Award, Outstanding Community Involvement Award, Certificate of appreciation from United Black Fund, . Expert Testimony at the White House Conference on Balance the National Growth. Let the works that he has done speak for him. Sidney married Olivia S. Jones Smith in 2004. They loved and supported each other until God called Sidney home on August 22, 2024, His family of Aunts, Uncles, Sisters, Brothers, Children, Nephews, Nieces, grand children, great great children , sisters, brothers, and all other friends and family will miss him.
