Robert was a collector and enjoyed his many hobbies. He cherished his Triumph, Corvette, and coin collections; loved racing his cars, bowling, watching sports, and a piping hot cup of Starbucks coffee in the afternoon. He had a passion for racing and chasing after the next top speed on the track; and loved the adrenaline rush. Robert was always willing to assists his friends, neighbors, and anyone in need; he was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed living his passion for DIY around the house and built many beautiful things with his bare hands.
Robert served in the Army for twenty-eight years as a Chief Warrant Officer Four. As a CW4 he retired as a Senior Engineer Maintenance Tech, serving both stateside and overseas. His children, Robert and Kayla Fox followed in his footsteps and are currently serving in the U.S. Army. He was a selfless man whose passing left an un-fillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, and support will forever be ingrained in the hearts of those who knew him well. Robert was truly a great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, who loves him dearly.
Robert was a man of true conviction and a man who embodied family first. He focused on providing for his wife, Huynh (Victoria) Vander Heiden, his children, Robert Fox Jr. and Kayla Fox, and his stepsons Evan Nguyen, and Alex Vander Heiden. His siblings, Adelle, Cheryl and husband Larry, Doug and wife Pamela, treasure the love, laughter, and family bond they shared with their brother Bob.
