Just found this wonderful picture, so sharing it belatedly. Love to the entire Welty family.

Our condolences to the entire Welty family. Neighbors for almost 60 years brings a lot to think about. Pat was always very nice and kind to us, despite some (who?) of the neighborhood kids being wild, reckless, and troublesome. From the Filipowicz family to the Welty family, please take care, seek solace, and find peace. Hers was a life well lived, rightly enjoyed, enriching to many, and loved by all. Thank you all for the great memories on Cabell Court. 

Grandma you made everything special. From our shopping trips and movie dates, to making concoctions and having tea together. I love you so much and I will miss you every day. You were a huge part of my life and you always will be. 

I will always remember my mom as the best ever mom. Cooking was her specialty. I always remember her special deserts especially her O’henry bars. I was blessed to have you for myself and family as a loving matriarch.
