Passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Falls Church, VA. She was born in Yonkers, NY to Clyde and Theresa Kiernan. Pat was a native of Yonkers, NY and a long term employee of Mutual of New York before relocating to Northern Virginia 30 years ago and went on to retire from COMSAT. She was also a founding member of COMARA, the COMSAT Alumni and Retirees Association. Pat is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Shakespeare and husband Fred, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Clyde Kiernan Jr., and a sister, Sandra L. Wall. A visitation will take place on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 5 to 8 pm with a service on Saturday, March 27, 2010, 2 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA 22151.
