Morgan Elizabeth Arnold

Morgan Elizabeth Arnold passed away on 24 April, 2018 in Fredericksburg, VA. She is survived by her father, George Richard Arnold II, her mother, Robbin Rice Arnold and her brother Michael Stone Arnold II. Surviving grandparents are Michael Stone Arnold, Roberta Breckenridge Arnold, Patricia Scarlett Rice, Jane Burkheimer, Lonnie Rice and Judi Rice.

Morgan was born on 24 August, 1998 in Charleston, SC. She graduated from West Springfield High School in 2016 and was enrolled in her sophomore year of college at the University of Mary Washington at the time of her death. She was also a volunteer at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History for most of her time in high school.

Music was a very big part of her life. She could play multiple instruments but favored the viola and electric bass guitar. She was a viola playing member of the Eastern Connecticut Youth Symphony during her middle school years while playing the electric bass in the middle school band. She played the electric bass in the after school Jazz Band during her early high school years and played viola in the high school orchestra all four years. She was also passionate about animals and loved every kind there was, even the creepy crawly ones. Books, reading and learning were also top priorities for her. Her shelves are full of books from new to some that date back over one hundred years. She always had an interesting fact to share or some little nugget of knowledge most people had not heard before on many topics.

Fun and laughter always filled whatever room she was in. Her precious spirit will be missed. She always noticed when others looked or felt down and was quick to offer a helping hand or an encouraging word. She listened to and tried to engage others from the littlest baby to the oldest adult. She was loved by many and loved many in return.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Morgan's name to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
