Mark A. Carter

Mark was born in Washington DC on 12/ 25/1959. He went to school at Robert E Lee High School. He (met) Diana in 1990 and married Diana on May, 8 1999, in Springfield, Virginia. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1978. Mark worked as a diesel mechanic at Performance Tech for 32 years.

Mark Carter is preceded in death by Albert Carter and Myrtle Carter, Diane Thompson, and Bill Arrington.

Mark is survived by his wife Diana Dixon-Cater, Children, Ted Dixon III (Tammy Dixon). Sisters, Colleen Arrington and Jodie Heflin (Jeff Heflin). He is survived by his grandchild Taylor Dixon and Teddy Dixon and great grandchild Bentley Dixon. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Kenny, Teddy, Nick, Jeff, Troy, Sean, Dean, and Alan.

Funeral services will be held at Demaine Funeral Home located at 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151 on Friday, July 8, 2022. at 12:00 pm with Bill Cover.

Officiating Burial will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery at 6600 S. Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306.

Arrangements are by Demaine Funeral Home.
