Formerly of Alexandria, VA, passed on February 19, 2024 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of 61 years to Marilyn (nee Jann) Nowak; brother of Christine (Gerald) Wik; and uncle of Amy and Daniel Wik. He was preceded in passing by his parents Lawrence and Caroline Nowak.
Leonard was born in 1940 in Buffalo, NY. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps before earning AAS, BS, and MBA degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After graduating, he was hired at the Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), retiring after a 36 year career. This also led to lifelong passion for real estate.
Services at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
