John Francis Dolan

Devoted husband, loving father, generous friend, accountant, businessman, and proud Irish American, died on April 29, 2013, at home in Springfield, VA. Born in Scranton, PA, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Therese O'Malley Dolan, sister Mary Bronson, brother William Dolan, sister-in-law Grace O'Malley Lisenby, son Patrick J. Dolan and his wife Ann Marie Dolan, daughter Mary Eileen Dolan Beam and her husband Jay C. Beam, and daughter Nancy T. Dolan, six grandchildren Cara, Colleen and Katherine Dolan, and Shane, Dallan and Cary Beam, and three caregivers Paul, Francis, and Jeffery. Family and friends will be received at DEMAINE Funeral Chapel in Springfield on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Saturday, May 4th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, as we celebrate John's life, we would cherish any written memories that you would like to share of him.
