Sue was born in Pennsylvania to Alice Florence (Johnson/Bahm) Brown and Clifford Dierstein Bahm on August 28, 1931. She was married to Anthony Korcel on May 15, 1957 in Arlington, VA.
Sue loved God, her church, her family and especially her twin grandchildren. Throughout her life she enjoyed singing and music of all kinds (her father and her husband (Tony) were both professional musicians). She also enjoyed summers at Bethany Beach, developing her artistic skills by painting pictures of places and things she loved, and picnics at area lakes. All through her life, Sue was always helping people in need.
Sue is preceded in death by Anthony (Tony) Korcel (Husband), Alice Brown (Mother), Clifford Bahm (Father), Marilyn Bahm (Sister) and her twin brother, Clifford (Nicky) Bahm.
Sue is survived by Becky (Korcel) Morehart (Daughter), Blaine Korcel (Son), Yu-Shen Lin (Daughter-in-law), Cassandra Korcel (Granddaughter) and Carina Korcel (Granddaughter).
On March 22, 2023, a Celebration of Life service for Sue will be held at
Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151 (703-941-9428) from 1pm-4pm as follows:
1:00pm - 1:30pm - Welcoming/Receiving Visitors
1:30pm - 2:30pm - Celebration of Life Service for Sue
2:30pm - 4:00pm - Family Visitation with light refreshments following Service

Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, on a date to be determined by the cemetery.
