On Saturday, August 24, 2013, Glenn Moffett, a longtime resident of Springfield, VA. Beloved husband of the late Earline Moffett; father of Randal G. and Susie Moffett of Matthews, NC and Debra A. Warner (Moffett) of Springfield, VA; grandfather of Jennifer Horgan, Thomas J. Reitz of SC, and Christopher R. Moffett of NC; and great-grandfather of Helen, Grant, Grace, Jessica, and Aiden of SC. A visitation will be held at the Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield, VA on August 28 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held August 29 at 10 am at the First Baptist Church of Springfield, 7300 Gary St, Springfield, VA, with interment to follow at the Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA. The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Red Cross or First Baptist Church of Springfield, marked for “A New Harvest”.
