Diana E. Jiron

She is survived by her husband of over 43 year, Frank Jiron (Maj, USAF, Ret) of Annandale, Virginia, her brother Robert McClellan Jr. (CWO-5, US Army Ret) and wife Donna of Ozark, Alabama, her sister Linda Gilles and husband Al of Nine Mile Falls, Washington, as well as many loving aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and nephews and nieces and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert McClellan (Lt Col, USAF Ret) and Glennis of Laurel Hill, Florida.

The daughter of a military family, she lived in France and Japan and several states throughout her father's career. Diana was a graduate of Manzano High School and AAA Business College in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She and Frank were married in Albuquerque, in 1972 and she eagerly assumed the role of military wife that included assignments in Colorado, Hawaii, California, Seoul Korea, and Washington DC. Diana retired from the Defense Intelligence Agency after over 32 years of Federal Service, where she served under and with what she termed were the finest people on earth.

She will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery on 29 August, 2016. Per her request, ladies attending are requested not to wear black.
