I miss you.  You were my friend since the 5th grade.   I never had the chance to say goodbye.  

Dana and I were best friends at the University  of Miami. We  ate all our meals together in the cafeteria every day. At night, we would hit the clubs in Miami, and go to the beach frequently during the day. Probably should have spent more time in class :-)  Dana was big on astrology and would always ask everybody upon meeting them "what sign are you"?  I remember going to Key West for the very first time with Dana and a mutual friend. I have tried to find Dana for years, so sad to learn of his passing.  Stephen M. Buncher 

So sorry to hear of Dana's passing. I've known Dana since he was in the 6th grade in Islamabad, Pakistan. His parent and mine were close friends and they first met shortly after WW2 in London while working with the  US Department of State.

We had kept in touch primarily thru Facebook and while I knew he was ill he would never share it.

I'm shocked to hear about Dana's passing. My family live in the same building as Dana, and seeing him walk around the community, you could tell he knew everyone and everything in our neighborhood. He wasn't just the best neighbor. To me, he defined what it is to be one. Dana was one of the best things here at the Rotonda, and one of the reasons I loved living here, because I wanted a community where people literally knew your name. Well, he knew mine, and we all knew his.

Dana was one of the first people I met in our local Pokémon group. He always had a smile, loved to tell stories of his life, and was welcoming to all. He was kind and generous, and took the time to include my young daughter in the conversation and the game whenever she was with me. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and he will be missed. 

Dana always had a smile and a story whenever I crossed paths with him. Not everyone gets out of their car or makes conversation when out raiding. But he always remembered my name and was one of my favorite people to run into and chat with when I was playing Pokemon GO in Tysons. He will be greatly missed. 

I would echo what Rachael said about Dana — he was kind, funny, generous with his time and talents, the best person to just hang out with and enjoy our game. He was much loved, and will be much missed.

Dana was a cherished member and leader of a quirky little community of Pokemon Go players in the Tysons area. He was a generous a caring person who made time to help newer players and include people who might otherwise have felt excluded. He will be greatly missed.
