Brenda Jo Bickford

Brenda is survived by her son Andy, of Alexandria, VA, daughter Belinda of Tampa, FL, daughter Shannon of Williamsburg, VA, and daughter Opie of Alexandria, VA; Grandsons Hunter, Dylan, & Joshua; granddaughters Sydney and Katherine; and ex-husband Donnie of Laurel, MD. She is also survived by a host of friends and cousins.

Brenda retired from the Federal Government after over 30 years of service and bought her dream beach home in Murrells Inlet, SC here she spent many morning, afternoons and evenings enjoying the beauty and peace that a sunrise or sunset brought to her soul. She was loved by all who knew her. Her light and love will live through all the lives and hearts that she touched.

Friends welcome on Wednesday, April 29 from 1-2:30 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield for a memorial gathering and service to celebrate her life. Interment to follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Brenda’s memory to the Salvation Army ARC, 6528 Little River Turnpike, Alexandria, VA 22312 or the American Cancer Society.
