Anne L. Haulsee

On Sunday March 17, 2013 Anne passed away unexpectedly at the Alexandria Hospital. She had recently been diagnosed with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Russell T. Boyle Jr. (Tom) of 34 years and two step daughters Dana Boyle and Samantha O’Hara, her husband Tripp and their two sons Hugh and Braeden. She was born in Richmond VA December 21, 1946, the only child of Russell and Louise Haulsee. She graduated from Roanoke College in 1968 with a BA in sociology. Then in 1971 she graduated from West Virginia University with a MA in Sociology. She worked as a consultant for the Dept. of Agriculture and other government agencies traveling around the county speaking on career goals and employment. She was the president of the National Association of Woman, Business owners 1979-80, and listed in the Who’s Who of American Woman. She later assisted her husband in his real estate career. She was very active in her Delta Gamma Sorority activities during college and up until her death. She was president of the Northern VA chapter 1973-75 and held many other Delta Gamma leadership positions. She was an avid animal rights supporter and provided considerable financial support for their wellbeing. In lieu of flowers contributions In Memory of Anne L. The family will receive friends at the Demaine Funeral Home 5308 Backlick Rd. Springfield VA 22151 on Sunday March 24 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Fort Myer Chapel at Arlington National Cemetery as well as a burial at a date that is to be determined.
