Virginia Yvonne Heckler, 91, of Springfield, passed away on December 20, 2024 at The Grove Health and Rehab in Jacksonville. She was born on August 3, 1933 in Fancy Prairie, Illinois to Lawrence Taylor and Sylvania Fuller. Virginia married Robert Heckler and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son Rodney Heckler.
Mrs. Heckler is survived by one daughter Marlene Cummins of Waverly, three grandchildren: Chris LaBonte of Osage Beach, Missouri, Katelyn Cummins of Springfield, Missouri and James Cummins of Waverly, one great-grandson Jackson LaBonte, one sister Bev (Ron) Workman of Springfield and her companion Jim Willett.
Virginia was an Avon Representative for over fifty five years. She loved bowling, garage sales, Fall festivals, cats and shopping.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday December 26, 2024 at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville, Illinois. Condolences may be left at www.bischfuneralhomewest.com.
