Terry E. Scott

Terry E. Scott, 66, of Springfield, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2002 at St. John’s Hospital. Terry was born October 17, 1935 the son of Charles and Beatrice Bull Scott in Washington, IA. He married Dodie Santini and she survives. Terry was a self-employed insurance agent. He enjoyed canoeing and deer hunting. He also enjoyed scuba diving and was a scuba diver instructor. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the United Commercial Travelers and a past member of the Springfield Ski Club. He was preceded in death by his father and stepson, Mark Dalsin. He is survived by his wife: Dodie Scott of Springfield; one son: Terry Scott, Jr. of Peoria; one daughter: Connie (husband, Ted) Scheidecker of Sterling; mother: Beatrice Pollack of Canton; one stepson: Richard (wife, Pam) Dalsin of Springfield; two stepdaughters: Kathy (husband, Tim) Bramlet of Springfield; Blue (husband, Doug) Geiger) of Bloomington, IN; one granddaughter: Carrie Murray; two grandsons: Travis and Scott Scheidecker; six step-grandchildren; two great grandson: Joshua and Alex Murray; two brothers: Charles Scott of AR, Mike Scott of Canton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2002. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Torgerson officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
