Tarra L. Strawn

Tarra L. Strawn, 77, of Pawnee, passed away on June 2, 2024 at her residence. She was born on June 21, 1946 in Bloomington to John Turner and Virginia Biddle. Tarra married David Strawn and he survives.

Mrs. Strawn is also survived by her children: Matt (Andrea) Strawn of Rochester and Mark (Heather) Strawn of Springfield, four grandchildren: Lydia and Mitchell Strawn and Mason and Cameron Strawn, one sister Pat (Randy) Holloway of Loami and one brother John Turner of Springfield.

Tarra worked as a Social Worker for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play hockey and cooking for her family.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday June 7, 2024 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until the time of service Friday at Bisch and Son. A graveside service will be held at 1:15pm on Friday at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
