Susan Olivia Rosenberg Singer, 44, of Springfield, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on May 17, 1963 in Belleville, the daughter of Darryl and Mary Ann Bricker Rosenberg. She married David Singer. She attended Southeast High School and St. John’s School of Nursing. She was preceded in death by her mother; her grandparents: Milton and Lilian Rosenberg; her grandmother: Ann Bricker and one brother: Carl Rosenberg. She is survived by her husband, David Singer of Springfield; two daughters: Tiffany and Trista Opalka of Texas; one step-daughter: Heather Singer; father: Darryl (wife, Judy) Rosenberg; step-mother: Nora Parrish of Springfield; three sisters: Janna Duncan of Arizona, Lisa (husband, Jef) Broyces of Texas and Julie (husband, Mat) Bainbridge of Peoria; three brothers: John (companion, Celeste Keenan) Bricker of Springfield; Jim (wife, Denneise) Wiese of Chatham and Michael (wife, Taya) Rosenberg of Florida and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends to visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Ceremony to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Scott Brindley, officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
