Susan Dame Porter, 75, of Springfield, died at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, October 3, 2004 at St. John’s Hospice. Susan was born October 27, 1928 in Callahan, FL the daughter of Carl and Nellie Roberts Burbridge. She married Donald T. Reese; he preceded her in death. She was a Rockette at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. She became a nurse and later retired. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one daughter: Donna Gonsalves of Springfield; two grandchildren: Heather Reese of Springfield, Derrick Creager of Riverton; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m., at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield with Rev. Donald Meehling officiating.
