Susan M. Pipkin

Susan Marie Pipkin, 60, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. John's Hospital. Susan was born July 5, 1955 in Springfield, the daughter of Robert Allen and Katherine Kay Barnett Schultz. She married James J. Pipkin on December 10, 1977 in Springfield. Susan graduated from Lanphier High School. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and going to casinos. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bonnie Lyons. She is survived by her husband, James J. Pipkin of Springfield; one son, Rob Pipkin of Springfield; one daughter, Tara (Jason) Sturgeon of Springfield; two brothers, John (Brenda) Schultz and Chuck Schultz, both of Springfield; one sister, Kathy (Ron) Tribble of Murrayville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S.
