

Stephanie R. Fritsch, 27, of Tallula, died on Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Tallula. Stephanie was born June 29, 1984 in Springfield, the daughter of Mark Fritsch and Katherine M. Pletz Fritsch. Stephanie was a 2002 graduate of New Berlin High School where she participated in student council, yearbook, SADD and volleyball. She also graduated from Parkland College and had been accepted to Worsham Mortuary School. Stephanie worked at the Target Pharmacy for the last 11 years, splitting her time between Springfield and Champaign. She also had previously worked at LaSorella restaurant in Springfield. She loved to travel, take photos, artwork, playing trivia and camping. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lyle Fritsch, David and Charlotte Pletz; and one aunt, Michelle Pletz. She is survived by her mother, Kathy Fritsch (companion, Stephen Powell) of Tallula; father, Mark Fritsch of Pleasant Plains; two brothers, David Fritsch of Loami and Joshua Fritsch of Tallula; grandmother, Alice Fritsch of Pleasant Plains; great-grandmother, Pauline Warner of Rochester; aunt, Julie Fritsch-Hughes; uncle, Patrick P. Pletz, Jr.; several great-aunts and great-uncles; niece, Aidia; godchild, Violet; several cousins, to include Ally, Quentin, Patrick, Maria, Victoria, Katelyn, Brendon and Bianca; and her golden retriever, Buddy, and Rabbit, Maxwell Cadbury the Bunny. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, with Daniel Goulet officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
