Mrs. Jasien is survived by three children: Anthony Ziemba (Susie Hager) of Sherman, Steven Ziemba of Phoenix, AZ., and Marcus (Sarah) Ziemba od Sugar Grove, IL., two step-children: Frank Jaisen (Vivian) of Naperville and Christine Jasien (Bob Holt) of Decatur, GA.

She was preceded in death by her brother Larry Vejrosta.
Stana, a resilient, outgoing, beautiful soul, rose to any challenge presented to her. She survived spinal meningitis and escaped the Iron Curtain in Salzburg, Austria as a young girl. She competed in the SOKOL gymnastics events even into her 30's, and spoke Czech fluently. If there was a dance floor, Stana was on it! If there was a stray cat, it became part of the family. Stana's friendships encompassed all aspects of life, and each was special to her. She loved visiting her relatives in Europe and enjoying lots of time with her family. With the love of her life, Frank Jasien, beside her, she traveled, danced and squeezed the most she could out of a lifetime. Stana fiercely loved her three boys and found joy in their happiness. She will be remembered for her smile, persistence, sense of humor and loving hugs. Many will miss her light.
Cremation rites were accorded. The family will host a memorial gathering on Saturday April 12, 2025 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street.
