Sharon S. Williams

Sharon was born on September 23, 1956, in Springfield, the daughter of Roy and Gertrude Brunner Tutt. She married Terrance Lynn Williams, Sr. on June 12, 1976, in Springfield; he preceded her in death on March 17, 2017.

Sharon was a dispatcher for the Springfield Police Department and for the Springfield Bus Service. She started the Alley Cats WII Bowling Club at Park Towers with her husband. She enjoyed making artwork and her specialty was painting metal yard art. Sharon also enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel, Murder She Wrote, and drinking Pepsi.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Williams, Jr. and two siblings.

She is survived by her son, Thomas (wife, Melinda) Williams of Rochester; one daughter, Catrina (Josh) Williams of Sparland, IL; goddaughter, Crystal Verry of Pawnee; five grandchildren, Shelby (Jamie), Tommy, Jr. (Emilie), Brieanna (Kat), Dalton, and Wesley; one great-grandchild, Jordan; sisters. Patsy, Reta, Shirley and Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private family ceremonies will be held.
