Shannon Nicole Green

She was born on September 28, 1988, in Springfield, the daughter of Mark K. Green and Shirley M. (Ilsley) Green.

Shannon graduated from Glenwood High School in 2007 and worked as a waitress.

She is survived by her two children, Kaelyn Green and Vincent Hutton, both of Springfield; her mother Shirley Green of Springfield; her father and step-mother, Mark Green and Mary Bartolomucci, of Chatham, IL; a sister Allison Green of Springfield; a step-brother Scott Claycomb of Chatham, IL; her companion Tony Hutton of Springfield; her grandfather Robert Ilsley of Athens, IL, her aunt and uncle Ellen and John Perry of Dawson, IL; and several cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Florence Ilsley, paternal grandparents Eugene and Evelyn Green, and two uncles Eric Ilsley and Jim Green.

Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at Cherry Hills Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.

Memorials may be made to a fund being set up for Shannon’s children in care of Mark Green.
