Scott E. DeFreitas, 39, of Springfield, passed away at 10:10pm on April 10, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born on March 23, 1979 in Springfield to Steve and Catherine Bunch DeFreitas. He married Nicole Linne on July 4, 2016 in Buffalo, Illinois and she survives.
Scott is also survived by his daughter Bella, his parents, grandparents, brothers: Stevie Jr., C.J. (wife Jessica), Jason (Rhonda Roy), sister April (Chad Saner, Sr.), mother-in-law Jennifer, father-in-law Cliff, brothers-in-law: Ron, Trevor, J.C., and sister in law Kelly, several nieces and nephews and cousins as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved cat Bubba.
Scott was a devoted husband and loving father. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, racing fan, and he enjoyed fishing.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday April 16, 2018 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street. The family will meet friends from 10:00am until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded.
