Sandra Lynn Veicht

She was born June 30, 1957 in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Lorraine M. Pahlmann and the late Eugene L. Stults.

Sandy is a 1975 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Springfield. She worked at Landmark Chrysler, Chatham Insurance Agency, County Market, and also was self-employed with her home cleaning service.

She is survived by her son Derek G. Veicht of Springfield; daughter Lauren M. Veicht of St. Charles, MO; her mother Lorraine M. Sandidge of Springfield; her ex-husband Garry C. Veicht; and her step-family, including sister Janet Curtis, sister-in-law Pat Sandidge, brother-in-law C.J. Saladino, step-nephews Rusty Curtis, Joseph Painter, and Jacob (Samantha) Saladino, step-nieces Jennifer Curtis, Katherine (Josh) Stone, Robyn (Jonny) Sundquist, and Samantha (Mike) Black, and 13 great-nephews and great-nieces.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, where a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 from 10 am until time of the memorial service at 11 am. Rev. Jonathan Sharp will officiate the service. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded.
