Sandra Katherine Janet

Sandra K. Janet, 68, of Springfield, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on February 3rd, 2016, in the comfort of her home with loved ones by her side. Born in Springfield, December 1, 1947, she was a lifelong resident of the Springfield, IL area. Sandra was the daughter of Leo and Eva Banks. She is survived by her kitty cat Cookie. Sandra was a faithful member of Last Days Discipleship Church for many years. Following retirement from the Illinois Department of Revenue, she spent most of her time attending church services and playing with Cookie. Sandra is going to be missed by everyone who knew her.

Visitation and Service: Friends are welcome to the Bisch and Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen, Springfield, IL where a visitation will be held from 11:30 am until time of her funeral service at 12:30 pm Monday, Feb. 8, 2016. Her dear friends, Pastor's Rick and Deanne Mulkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park near Riverton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lighthouse Ministries 3500 N. Dirksen Parkway #230 Springfield, IL 62702 or the Animal Protective League.
