Samantha Nicole Waldron

Samantha was born on May 3, 1994, in Ft. Irwin, CA, the daughter of Roman M. Waldron and Sherry L. Arendt-Waldron.

Samantha was a graduate of Williamsville-Sherman High School and Lincoln Land Community College. She proudly served her country in the Army National Guard, and most recently worked on submarines at the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, NH. Samantha was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved spending time with her family, friends and her beloved Yorkie, Molly. Samantha was a fiercely loyal, loving, and compassionate person who was known by everyone for her sense of humor and carefree attitude. She had recently relocated to New Hampshire and enjoyed hiking and walking along Hampton Beach.

Samantha was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Fred and Imogene Schneider of Mason City, IL; and an aunt, Kathy Arendt of Loretto, KY.

She is survived by her parents, Roman Waldron of New Hampshire and Sherry Arendt-Waldron of Kentucky; paternal grandfather, Ronnie Waldron of Illinois; maternal grandparents, Rick and Judith Arendt of Kentucky; and several uncles and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at Butler Funeral Home—Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL. In keeping with CDC guidelines, only ten people at a time will be allowed inside the funeral home.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.
