Rose Paull Spence, 78, of Springfield, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2003 at St. John’s Hospice. Rose was born July 11, 1925 in Detroit, MI the daughter of John and Rose Kogelman Paull. She married Roger Spence June 17, 1944 in Detroit, MI. Mrs. Spence was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Questers International and Southfield Gardening Club in Southfield, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband: Roger of Springfield; one daughter: Rebecca “Becky” (husband, Albert) Inkel of Springfield; two granddaughters: Nichole Bennett of Chatham, Lori (husband, John) Kohler of Oaklawn, IL; four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at St. John’s Lutheran Church 2477 W. Washington, Springfield from 11-12:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2003. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2003 at St. John’s Lutheran Church 2477 W. Washington, Springfield with Pastor Paul Olson officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Hospital, Hospice Unit, 800 E.
