He was born on August 11, 1953, the son of Jimmie and Irma Grafton Peterman. Ronald married Terri Heissinger on March 31, 1973, in Springfield.
Ronald worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital as an administrator for 30 years. He then worked as a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. Ronald enjoyed sailing, walking his dogs, and working in the yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronald is survived by his wife; sons, Brian (Sarah) Peterman of Chatham and Trent (Tracy) Peterman of Sherman; grandchildren, Bennett, Carson, and Jayda; sister, Nancy Emmons; brothers, Terry (Lori) Peterman, Mike (Lisa) Peterman, and Bill (Vicki) Peterman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and beloved dogs, Cooper and Yoda.
Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Protective League or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
