Ronald D. Dorgan

He was born on December 28, 1950 in Springfield, the son of the late Joseph F. and Lillian L. (Callahan) Dorgan.

Ron retired from Anderson Electric as a warehouse supervisor. He was a player/coach for the Springfield Kings. He lived and breathed hockey.

He is survived by his fiancée of 43 years Lisa Vieira of Springfield; his sister Toy Martin of Australia; 1 niece and 1 nephew; and Lisa’s brother Mark (wife Polly) Cornwell and their two sons.

He was preceded in death by his son Ryan Dorgan; his parents; and his brother-in-law Ross Martin; and mother-in-law Marilyn Cornwell.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Springfield. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.
