Dear Bud, Buddy and Benny,

When I think of Bob, I think of Bobby, Buddy and Benny and football, baseball and whatever else we did at your house on Allerton. I also think about Jack, Bobby, Kevin, myself and a lot of other friends we grew up with and the good ole times at Harrison. There are a lot of good memories and that's what keeps Keverything okay. As we all get older, ready for the next chapter of memories, it's good to have great teammates in your life.

We love you all and keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I really only know Bobby from about 40 years ago when he played baseball.

Bobby is fine now and at peace. My prayers are mostly for his family and friends that have to deal with this sudden and unexpected loss. This will be difficult, but I pray God wraps his arms around each and everyone and helps you through this. I bet there a lot of real good memories out there!

Subject: Sad news

I am very sad to say, Bobby Cardwell had a massive heart attack and passed away suddenly 11/25/13.
The coroner's report showed an enlarged heart from hypertension; and two or more arteries with 90% blockage. It happened sometime Sunday night or Monday morning, and he lived alone. 
On Monday, he missed a meeting and did not answer his phone, so Thad one of his business partners, went looking for him at his residence. Bobby lived in Springfield, IL., where his children live and where he worked. 
Bobby was so good, light heart ed, loving, caring, generous, FUN guy! Bobby will be sadly missed by all, his Dad, his children, his brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and by me, his sister! 
Keep his family in your prayers, especially his children and his Dad.

Buddy and Ben, having lost two of my own brothers in the last five years, I know how difficult it is and how much your hearts are aching. Not a day will go by that you don't think about your brother and how much you love and miss him, but your memories will comfort you. 

Mr. Cardwell, words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I pray that God holds you and guides you through this storm and brings you peace.

Bob was my best friend and will be truly missed. He was so full of life and energy,and always positive. I could always count on Bob to show me the best in any situation. No matter how Bob was feeling, he was always upbeat and always made you feel better. I will miss you my friend and my brother. Love you Brother, Rest In Peace.
