Richard "Rick" Hashman, 54, of Riverton, died at 4:31 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his home. Richard was born April 27, 1959 in Springfield, the son of Bernard and Wanda Fagg Hashman. He married Kay "Marlene" Hinds on July 31, 1981 in Springfield. She preceded him in death on February 26, 2012. Richard was a member and was employed by the Local 116 Union as a carpenter. He was also preceded in death by his father, Bernard Hashman and step-father, Randy Potter. He is survived by one son, Richard (girlfriend, Heather Scott) Hashman, II of Riverton; one daughter, Mandi Crowder (companion, Dawn Scott); grandchildren, Bradley and Shianne Crowder of Athens, Cam'ron and Emma Hashman of Lincoln, Kylie Hashman of Springfield, and one on the way; mother, Wanda Potter of Jacksonville; siblings, Lisa Dennison, Theresa (husband, Don) Cody, Jim (wife, Lori) Hashman, and Steve Hashman, all of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
