Rebecca Ann Marks, 85, passed away on January 8, 2024, at her home in Springfield, Illinois.
Rebecca (Becky) was born on December 1, 1938 in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Edith McClelland Smith and Fred Baker. She married Henry Marks in February 1958 in Tampa, Florida and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2020. She was a member of Buffalo Hart Presbyterian Church. She retired from SPARC in 2005 and then began volunteering at Memorial Medical Center in the Pastoral Care office for 13 years. She loved her volunteer work and traveling with dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son Keith Marks, daughter Karen Marks, two sisters, Carolyn Tufts and Helen Ward.
Becky is survived by her daughter Lynne (Craig) Metz; two granddaughters Morgan (Jeff) Moriarty and Abigail (Ricardo) Rosado; four great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
A burial service will be held in Tampa, Florida at Sunset Memory Gardens at a later date.
