Paul Anthony McGuire, 84, of New Berlin, died at 3:46 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. Paul was born January 2, 1929 in Springfield, the son of William H. and Emma Hill McGuire. He married Dorothy Knust on August 6, 1960 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Berlin. She preceded him in death. Paul was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School and Springfield High School. Paul worked as a book binder at Byers Printing Company for over 45 years. Paul was an avid Chicago Bears, Bulls and White Sox fan and was very interested in horticulture and landscaping. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, and ice skating. He was also preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers; and 4 sisters. Paul is survived by his four children, Suzanne (Tim) Berry, Nancy (Jim) Blankenship, Dan McGuire, and Janet McGuire (Danny Johnston), all of New Berlin; three grandchildren, Aaron and Ian Berry, and Emma Blankenship; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 304 E. Birch St., New Berlin, with Rev. Msgr. John R.
