Patrick J. Boyle, 38, of Springfield, passed away at 3:35 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Patrick was born March 19, 1974 in Springfield, the son of James J. and Therese F. Mageean Boyle. Patrick was a graduate of Springfield High School and worked for several area restaurants, and most recently as a server for Red Lobster. He enjoyed playing guitar and had played in local bands. He also enjoyed fishing and watching movies, especially Star Wars. He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Boyle. He is survived by his mother, Terrie Boyle of Springfield; siblings, James (Melissa) Boyle of Alton and Elizabeth (Rick) Reynolds of Springfield; two aunts; three uncles; one niece; three nephews; one great-niece; and several cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Funeral Mass: 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos, Springfield with Rev. Robert Jallas, celebrant. Inurnment: Will follow at the Virtues of Life Columbarium at Roselawn Memorial Park.
