Patricia S. Heaton

Patricia Susan Heaton, 81, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at her residence. She was born on November 4, 1931 in Macomb, IL., the daughter of Charles and Lela Hanes Burnside. She married Roderick Heaton on January 27, 1952 in Rushville, IL., and he survives.

She is also survived by three sisters: Lucille Morgan of Rushville, Margie Tyrrell of Flagstaff, AZ., and Nancy Catron of Virden, three daughters: Vickie Johnson of Houston, TX., Diana Albrecht of Medora, IL., and Judy Barton of Jacksonville, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Patricia worked for Sears in the service department for 21 years. She was a member of Woodside Methodist Church and also was a member of the Women’s Society at Woodside. She loved to sew and she used her talent in many ways including making all of the clothing for her daughters when they were children. Patricia valued the special times shared with her family especially with her beloved grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday January 30, 2013 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street with Rev. Dr. David Estep officiating . The family will meet friends from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
