Patricia A. Downey, 88, of Springfield, died at 9:16 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Reflections Memory Care.
Patricia was born on July 12, 1934, in Springfield, the daughter of Lucille Bastin Sager.
Patricia was a graduate of Lanphier High School and life-long resident of Springfield. She worked for the IL Department of Revenue for 39 years before retirement. Patricia enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Fighting Illini and the Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
The family is being served by Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.
