She was born on July 27, 1918 in New Berlin, IL, the daughter of the late John W. and Edna (rief) Foutch. She married Edward Cartwright in Kahoka, MO in December of 1940 and he survives.
Mrs. Cartwright worked as a legal secretary for the Los Angeles Co., CA Public Defender’s office.
Besides her husband, Edward, she is survived by a sister-in-law Mary Pride of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Kent Cartwright and 2 brothers, Jay and George Foutch.
