Melinda "Mindy" Ann Becker

Mindy was born on June 7, 1967, in Springfield, IL, to Charles P. and Jane A. Cain Becker.

She attended Hope Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon. Additionally, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Attorney General’s office for the state of Illinois.

Mindy was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

She is survived by her mother; siblings, Larry Becker and Sandra “Sandy” Stannard, of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Sarah (Alex) DeJulius, Grace (Jacob) Ladina, Joseph Stannard III, and Clare Stannard.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

The family will host a Memorial Gathering from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Memorial Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Hope Presbyterian Church with Pastor Chuck Goodman officiating. Burial will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Presbyterian Church.
