Mary C. Timko, 95, of Springfield, died at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2005, at Capitol Care Center. Mary was born January 1, 1910, in Westville, IL, the daughter of George and Mary Simko Timko. She retired in 1974 from Sangamo Electric where she had been employed for forty-three years. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Catholic SOKOL, Sangamo Electric Retirees Club and Sangamon County Home Extension Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and six brothers. She is survived by three brothers: Michael Timko of Springfield, George B. Timko of Cottonwood, CA, Anthony J. (wife, Helen) Timko of Gardena, CA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2125 N. 21st. St. Springfield with Very Rev. Thomas Liebler, V.F. celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Hospital Good Samaritans, c/o St. John’s Hospital Foundation Office, 800 E.
