Mary Lou Jones

Mary Lou Jones, 73, of Springfield, passed away on February 13, 2009 at her home. Mary Lou was born on July 1, 1935 in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Stanton Endres. She married Ray Jones and he preceded her in death. Mary Lou worked as a waitress at various hotels and enjoyed playing BINGO. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Jack and Petey Daugherty; her parents; and her brother, Sonny Endres. Surviving Mary Lou are her sons, Joe (Rebecca) Daughtery of Pawnee, Ray E. Jones, and Mickey Daugherty, both of Springfield; her siblings, Rita Sidener, Kathy (John) Burger, Jimmy and Pete (Jackie) Endres, Linda (Jack) Rotherham, and Dorothy (Dale) Ciotti, all of Springfield; in addition to several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Lou's son, Joe Daugherty.
